The World Bank Team has charged community leaders to provide modalities that could effectively maintain various facilities built in their communities for their benefit.
The World Bank Independent Verification Agents (IVA) team lead for Delta State, Mr. Samuel Egbo gave the charge during a spot check on some of the activities of the delivery platforms in communities across the State.
Mr. Egbo who was appreciative of the enormous work of the various delivery platforms charged the community leaders to encourage their people to effectively use the facilities for the good of their people.
The team visited Ayara Community in Isoko South were they inspected the new constructed ICT centre and the installed borehole water with tower housing two tanks and Ellu Community in Isoko North Local Government Areas where they constructed 6 units of public toilets along with borehole water and tanks.
Both communities were elated of the World Bank and State Government initiative of responding to their needs and promised to judicious maintained the facility.
The Technical Head Community Driven Development Support implementation Unit, Mrs A. Orubu and the Monitoring and Evaluation Officers of the State CARES Steering Committee, Mrs Abigail Okonkwo disclosed the had spread across so many communities in the state and more other communities will also be given attention.
