Wetland Microfinance Bank in Delta State has emerged the fastest growing state licensed microfinance bank in Nigeria.
The bank was awarded the “Fastest Growing State Licensed Microfinance Bank” over other microfinance banks from across Nigeria by the National Association of Microfinance Banks at its 12th Annual General meeting in Abuja.
Responding, the Pioneer Managing Director and Co-Founder, Mrs Justina Kpedi, said “we are very pleased to receive this award.
“Receiving an award for doing what is driven by our mission and vision can only spur us on to keep on breaking the limits and extending our reach until all the economically active poor in our catchments and beyond are empowered through our wide spectrum of financial services.”
Mrs kpedi dedicated the award to God, the entire members of the board, management and staff of the bank for their commitment and dedication to duty, as well as the bank’s customers for making Wetland Microfinance Bank their preferred financial institution.
Wetland Microfinance Bank which started as Eripko Community Bank in 2000, currently has over 12 branches across Delta State to serve the credit needs in all the 25 Local Government areas in the state.
It has a newly built five storey corporate head office with all electronic channels, ATM, mobile app and USSD.
