Members of War Against Indiscipline (WAI Brigade) have pledged to support Security Agencies for the peaceful conduct of the forthcoming general elections in the country.
The South West Zonal Commander of the Brigade Mr Gabriel Odeoye made this known while speaking with newsmen in Bauchi.
The South West Zonal Commander who was in Bauchi to participate in the state camp organized by the State Command of the Brigade, described the camp as timely considering it’s important towards equipping members on the electoral process.
Gabriel Odeoye noted that considering the positive contributions of Wai-Brigade to national development, there is urgent need for the federal government to provide them with logistics support for effective societal reorientation.
On his part, the North West Zonal Commander of the Brigade, Mr. Monday Gode lauded the organizers of the camp which he observered will go along way for ensuring free violence before, during and after the elections.
The North East Zonal Commander of the Brigade, Alhaji Zayyanu Musa Wunti said the camp will assist the participants to provide required orderly during elections at polling units.
Zayyanu Musa Wunti reassured the determination of Wai-Brigade to ensure discipline in the society for the country to overcome some of it’s challenges.
According to the North East Zonal Commander, over five hundred members of the brigade across the country are participating in the state camp
