Officers of the War Against Indicipline (WAI) Brigade, the paramilitary Unit of the National Orientation Agency (NOA) and staff of the agency in Delta State Directorate today promoted COVID-19 awareness campaign for community safety in the State.
The Delta State Directorate of NOA and the State Command of the WAI Brigade, led by the State Director, Mr. Chris Anyabuine have engaged various Communities, motor parks and markets in Isele-Asagba in Aniocha South, Oshimili South and North Local Government Areas of the State to sensitized and intensified the campaign against the spread of Covid 19 in the State.
Their mission was to provide the community with important information needed for their overall health and safety related to the COVID-19 pandemic, and to draw the consciousness that COVID-19 is real.
Anyabuine, the Delta State NOA Director appealed to Deltans to always keep to the preventive Protocols of the pandemic as well as provide necessary support for government’s effort concerning covid19,
Affirming the position of the NOA Director, Delta State Commander of WAI Brigade, Commander Richard Obot noted that community has an urgent need to raise awareness related to the pandemic.
“Community transmission of Coronavirus is still very much a threat and Nigerians have been urged to comply with Covid-19 protocols of maintaining physical distance, cleaner environment and other preventive measures as prescribed by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control”. Obot added
