The need for effective synergy between youths and elders as well as stakeholders in every community in order to uplift the living standards of the people as well attract meaningful socioeconomic development has been stressed.
The Chairman of Local Organising Committee for the inauguration of the newly elected executive committee of Umu-Oni Ogbeozoma Youth Association , Comrade Sunday Nkwor stated this in Okpanam, Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta during the inauguration of the chairman and members of the elected executive committee.
Those inaugurated included Comrade Anthony Okocha (Chairman) ; Comrade Chukwuka Mokogwu (Vice Chairman) : Comrade Uche Ifesindi (Secretary General) : Comrade Oluchukwu Mokobia (Treasurer) : Comrade Amechi Stanley Animudu (Financial Secretary) : Comrade Christian Ifesindi ( Organising Secretary) and Comrade Emeka Seun Oseha ( Provost ) .
Speaking further, Comrade Nkwor, who lauded youths of Ogbeozoma quarter for demonstrating resilience and commitment towards the development of Okpanam, said that despite some teething issues in the community the youths of the community had remained one indivisible entity.
In his acceptance speech, the chairman elect for Umu-Oni Ogbeozoma Youths, Comrade Anthony Okocha said that their election and inauguration would usher in a new dawn in Ogbeozoma and Okpanam in general even as he the vice chairman, Comrade Chukwuka Mokogwu described the emergence of the executives as one of the best things to happen to the community.
Comrade Okocha, who appreciated youths in the area for their support during and after their election , promised to operate an open door policy and carry the people along in the scheme of things.
