Hon Smart Ijeoma Ufoh who recently took over the mantle of leadership in the Delta State Ministry of Technical Education, as the honourable commissioner, is poised to modernized it to serve it’s long created purposed.
Hon. Ufoh, who shortly after his 2025 Budget Defense presentation to the Interministerial Budget Committee on budget defence being organized by the State Ministry of Economic Planning, shared insights into his ministry’ with journalists in Asaba, the State capital.
His presentation indicates a commitment to transforming the technical education landscape in Delta State, ensuring students have access to modern, vocational training facilities that can prepare them for future careers in various industries.
Hon. Ufoh described his experience as both challenging and rewarding where he provided an overview of the ministry’s achievements and future plans noting that the ministry’s focus for 2025 is to modernize technical education across the State.
The Commissioner further disclosed that plans were underway to establish model technical colleges across the 25 Local Government Areas of the State as they upgrade the existing ones.
Adding, he said “Plans are also on ground to commission the fourth Model Technical college in Omadino, near Warri, by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori”.
