President General of the Union of Udu Communities, Mr Austin Emaduku has expressed great delight with the emergence of the Rt Hon Emomotimi Dennis Guwor as Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, saluting the Ijaw political star on his elevation to the office of Speaker, promising to mobilize Udu to cooperate with the new leadership of the House so that the MORE Agenda of the present administration can go round all sectors of the society for the good of all.
In a statement he personally signed, Mr Emaduku also congratulated the new Speaker, the Rt Hon Emomotimi Guwor and the Deputy Speaker, Hon Arthur Akpowowo on their election to lead the 8th Assembly of the State, urging the two House leaders to broaden their minds to accommodate all interest groups in the state. He also urged the members of the House of Assembly to put the interests of Deltans first in the discharge of their duties so as to move the state forward.
Mr Austin Emaduku also used the medium to congratulate the member representing Udu in the House of Assembly, Hon Collins Ovie Emaduku on his successful inauguration, stressing that Udu got it right in voting for a lawyer for the business of law making on behalf of the Udu people.
