A married woman name withheld from one of the Oil Rich Littoral States of South-South Nigeria admitted that her problem started with her rebellious and prideful attitude towards her husband after a little misunderstanding at home when she started disrespecting her husband made it easily for her to fall for the guy’s social media chat
See below for her statement.
“About four months ago, there is this guy who began chatting with me quite innocently on Facebook. In his profile picture, he was handsome and appears to be wealthy. Lately, he began showering me with nice love messages and slowly graduated to gifts: qualitative and expensive gift. But I couldn’t show it or tell it to my husband.
“He told me he breezed into town just to see me. Excitedly, when I met him, I liked him more, he was just cool. That day went without any involvement but slowly we gradually graduated into romantics and video calls. Finally, he secured a hotel accommodation out of town and invited me. I took myself there willingly. I had lied to my husband that I was going to visit a cousin of mine who lives out of town. Me and my husband had some issues that had prolonged for a while.
“On that fateful day, in the hotel, I have made up my mind to have him. He went into the shower first and ask me to shower and I did so. We soon got to bed but almost immediately he got down from bed and was just slow to get on. He appears engrossed with the TV programme and after a while counting money, then got his phone for a while and finally came to me on the bed. Just as we began having romance, the door got banged so hardly like Police or kidnappers or something. The guy screamed and seemed very scared and went to open the door shivering. Behold, my husband came inside the room and found me naked on the bed. He called me by my name and said – BUT WHY?
“He told me it was all a set up to confirm speculations. The guy admitted it was true, that he was hired by my husband, all those quality gift and everything. He dressed up and left with my husband. I felt so much ASHAMED. I couldn’t go home but went to my mothers place and haven’t told my parents why am there. The children are still with my husband.
“How do I solve this problem? Am so confused myself”. She cried
