“For the fact that an armed robber, a rogue or a drug baron is a well-known philanthropist, doesn’t make the person a morality standard to be proud of, or sheepishly promoted or followed.” – DSM
Unfortunately in Nigeria, people don’t think about the consequences of character flaws in their supposedly oppressive philanthropist’s governance policies, and as such, are easily deceived by an early CHEESE GAME of some tricky politicians. These character deformed politicians capitalise on the citizens’ poverty and gullibility to make anti-masses policies. They will start a new regime with flashes of good policies, and just as they predicted, Nigerians will be woolwiched into the popular spell of, ‘LET’S GIVE THE REGIME A CHANCE’, even when they knew that they were robbed by the process that produced the victories. The citizens are aware that these victories were criminally executed and obtained, but as gullible people, they are willing to let go off their self-worth for nothingness. Every Nigerian leadership will always start with a deceptive CHEESE GAME of, ‘it’s better to suffer now and enjoy later.’ A thoroughly rehearsed storyline of every subsequent regime in Nigeria, and as MUGUs, we will chorus, ‘AMEN’ in our confused death trap cleverly laid out by a new oppressive regime.
“No matter how much remorseful a criminal tends to repent or pretend, he or she will never be totally cured of certain rudiments of criminality.” – DSM.
In this case, when a society decides to jettison the fundamental principles of democracy in its governance systems, criminals will hijack the process, and the result will be a government under the siege of criminals, and the storyline starts with, ‘My government is aware of your sufferings but we won’t get out of it without adding new burdens.’ Oh yes members will fight any opposition that states otherwise. And I kept on asking myself, ‘Are Nigerians very much comfortable with unending suffering maladies?’
‘Criminocracy’ can be described as a government of the criminals, for the criminals and by the criminals. A system where if you are not a criminal, you will not be allowed into an organised politics of crimes empowerment. It’s a system where for you to be honoured with a national honour, you must have been either a convict or a person awaiting trial in any court of law. In fact, it’s a system where people are converged with a singular purpose of how to share Nigerians commonwealth. For you to be honoured with a chieftain of any political party or be given a chieftaincy title nowadays in Nigeria, your party, constituency or village must appraise how much you have stolen. It doesn’t matter how it was made but what quantum.
There’s no better way to summarise the ugly situation in Nigeria presently than to state that, ‘This is a country, where it’s president cannot be accurately verified in character, integrity, identity and qualifications; the VP is battling on the allegation of terrorism; a Senate President with an EFCC case is hoisted with all charges quashed; a Judiciary that is out of the reach of ordinary people. We have a situation where a CBN Governor served us as an emperor; an NNPC GMD that has scammed all Nigerians with unverified evidence of subsidies payments; a security architecture that tends to protect the oppressors and rogues in leadership; a leadership functionalities that pride on religious, tribal, nepotistic and impunity haughtiness; and finally, a society, where being normal is abnormal.’
Otherwise, can someone else tell me that in a sane society, someone like Asari Dokubo will be given prominence, and to the extent of indicting the military as sole crude oil thieves? Secondly, how can he assert himself as security adviser by stating that releasing MNK is like rewarding criminality? Who’s a criminal, a man acquitted by a court of competent jurisdiction or a militant, who had fought the Nigerian State?
‘Criminocracy’ is the main reason why people like Asari Dokubo should have the temerity to speak to the deprived Nigerians with a presidential handshake. A man who has threatened a race with arrogance of annihilation, and yet, he’s not arrested by FGN for his inflammatory speech. A case of an armed robber calling a pick pocketer, a terrorist. This can only happen in a society where Mafians have taken over a ‘Criminocracy’ country. We are almost enclosed by Mafians in a trickery democratic garbs.
In case you are part of the spell bond Nigerians, all these hullabaloo of DSS and EFCC arrests of alleged corrupt Nigerians as seen in Emefiele and few ministers, the euphoria will soon fizzle out. Our Mafian leaders understand that an average Nigerian is so stupid to question the ugliness of our past and present corrupt infested scorecards. Are most of our known past leaders not presidents, Senators, Governors, Honourables and godfathers? Our leaders will acknowledge our sufferings but they won’t partake in the sufferings. I have asked, ‘WHY ARE OUR LEADERS SO WICKED TO THEIR CITIZENS?’
Let us take a clockwise reflection as hinted hereunder, and at the end, you can see how foolish that you and I have been by supporting most alleged corrupt infested leaders in Nigeria’s history.
- Dan Goje was accused of mismanaging billions of state funds by the EFCC and now cooling down as a Distinguished Nigerian.
- Stella Oduah was accused of diversion of billions of Naira by the EFCC, and she was compensated with a Senatorial approval.
- Orji K was accused of mismanaging N7.65bn of Abia State funds by the EFCC. Convicted but released after few months to enjoy the honour of a Distinguished Nigerian.
- Rochas O was hunted like a rat by EFCC in his Abuja residence, accused of mismanaging Imo State funds and as others, he had a handshake as a Distinguished Nigerian.
- Ifeanyi U, the Anambra political godfather was accused of billions of Naira on subsidy fraud by the EFCC, he wasn’t only a Distinguished Nigerian but political juggernaut in Nigeria.
- Ibrahim S was equally accused of millions of Naira GEJ Campaign fund mismanagement by the EFCC, and he’s rewarded with Senate seat.
- Theodore O was elected as Governor in prison because of the allegation of Abia state fund mismanagement. As that was not enough, EFCC accused him of mismanaging billions of state funds. These ended up with a Senate seat.
- Ibikunle A was equally accused of stockpiling 1,000 AK47 and 4 million bullets. The findings catapulted him into a Distinguished Nigerian horde.
- Godswill A may be the luckiest of all because he has always been compensated with Ministerial appointments after being accused of mismanaging billion Naira of state funds by the EFCC. Currently, he’s the anointed Senate President of the 10th National Assembly.
- The latest entrant is the heavy allegation of the former minister of aviation, who didn’t only painted an Ethiopian aircraft as Nigeria Air, but bought 10 numbers of firefighters trucks for N12 billions.
The list is endless, but if you can have few minutes, just do a mental appraisal of those who are in NASS, and other government agencies. The truth about Nigeria is that it stinks with various cover ups in criminalities.
In 2006, Ribadu before the Senate listed five Governors as the worst corrupt leaders in Nigeria then in this order : - Orji K
- Ahmed B
- Ahmed S
- George A
- Abudulahi A.
He later alluded that Ahmed B was the most investigated person in Nigeria history, and at the end, he was declared as the only saint in Nigeria’s political sphere.
From the above:
- Ahmed B is the most beneficiary, as all Nigerians have appreciated him as their President.
Other beneficiaries include: - George is now the Secretary to FGN.
- Adamu was elected as chairman of APC.
- Ribadu, who didn’t prosecute those culprits he alleged to have embezzled their states funds is now the chief security adviser of the same person he listed as part of Nigeria economic miseries.
- Orji as I stated earlier is now a crying Senator for telling off his tribe as not capable of leading Nigeria.
- Ahmed S has a Guinness world record of marrying two 13 year-old girls and a wedding party at Senate House that ought to protect the rights of a girl-child abuse and early marriage.
Can this be a case of an African parlance that says, ‘show me your friends and I’ll tell you who you are.’ A clear understanding of the composition of Nigeria’s leadership enclave, where we can be able to say, ‘birds of the same feathers flock together.’
There are many Nigerians who have raped Nigerians, and as MUGUs, we have elected them into higher positions so as to ensure that their looting sprees are translated from an arithmetical metric to a more scientific geometrical framework. Soon, Emefiele will be released, and guess what, he will vie for 2027 elections, and of course, not only will his sins be forgotten, he will be defended and voted for by the same people who have been raped and oppressed.
That’s because we have a government of ‘Criminocracy,’ where, dirty deals are the best criteria for participating in all electoral processes.
Our leaders failure in empathic behaviours are the reason why Nigerians have discriminated against themselves, and as such, the new normal societal system is now a country that segregate its citizens BETWEEN CRIMINALS in government and CITIZENS without any morality values.
Nigeria has become a nation of scammers, and from the 4th Republic, OBJ scammed us of an alleged $16 billion power sector deadness, GEJ intensified all efforts, and scammers were everywhere in CBN, NNPC and other sectors, looting without a break. Except Yar’adua, whose exemplary lifestyle was an epitome of the morality values and principles that we grew up with.
PMB came with a textbook without a certificate for corruption fight, but only to magnify corruption to a disastrous dimension.
What A Nation!!!
Nigerians are very easily deceived even as they can show resilience in their capped suffering acceptance, and hence, they are like a society where thieves are in various dimensions. This assertion is based on tribal and religious politics, and hence, when a thief is caught in Nigeria, those that will defend him or her will be his tribesmen or religionist members. Criminals in Nigeria are only criminals if they don’t have any money to settle either those who arrested, prosecuted or convicted them. After all, our new Senate President made a popular statement when he said that, ‘What money cannot buy, more money will buy in Nigeria.’
Nigeria will be well defined as a country of ‘Criminocracy,’ and this is because, if you are not yet a fraudster, you will be tagged as a MUGU.
A sane society will frown on all tendencies of corruption. We should be bold enough to call a thief a thief any day. There’s nothing like tribal, religious or political rogue. We don’t have a good thief and a bad thief. A thief is a thief.
Nigeria is like a victim of an armed robber who robbed them of their old dilapidated car. They’re aware of the armed robber, who probably has refurbished the old stolen car to the latest model. Instead of shouting for the arrest of the armed robber, Nigerians will be hailing him for robbing them of their car and even admiring the new refurbished car. How else could one describe a society of MUGUs, probably, a people who are unlearned or mad. A people who are quickly excited to their leaders weaponised poverty and hunger strategies. We live in a society where wealth is the measuring instrument of accomplishment, and national honour. Good name is no more an issue of accomplishment, because some of us who are retired from public service without loads of money are regarded as failures. Today, the ideal of a good name is better than gold has disappeared, and the new accolade in Nigeria is the rebranded version of ‘A THIEF FOR A CHIEF.’ The higher your exploits in corrupt practices, the more acceptable you become in a society of morality decadence. This is our NEW US…a sad reality.
At least, two Nigerians that won APC’S Senatorial seats didn’t contest in the party’s primary elections, but suddenly, they won, using the same oppressive judiciary process as backed up foundation. Nigerians are hailing these two senators, and with one being compensated with the Senate leadership. It becomes very unfortunate to read normal human beings eulogising elections whose processes were fraudulent. We have deafening ears to even remember the NASS comedy show of, ‘OFF YOUR MIC’.
How can we sow all sorts of evils and later complain of reaping our evil seeds in our harvest’s time?
What exactly does Nigeria stand up for in terms of morality values and principles?
If someone calls you a foolish person, won’t you appraise the derogatory remark so as to ensure that you are not, or where necessary, make an adjustment if there’s any iota of truth?
Are we actually out of normality in a society that ought to promote credibility rather than criminality?
Now that we are all in a full blown ‘Criminocracy,’ won’t it be better for us to be free to all sorts of lawlessness and criminalities? That way, we will all be proud of the law of injustice and chaotic behaviours. After all, there’s no need of creating a law(s) against lawlessness, corruption, violence and all sorts of crimes when we are aware that the criminals in charge of the enforcement of the laws will never convict criminals in the same oppressive criminality. It means in a simple term, CRIMINALS WILL ONLY PASS LAWS AGAINST THEIR PERCEIVED ENEMIES, AND NEVER TO BE CONVICTED of any crime(s) committed by their own coven allies in criminal activities. The truth is that, the REIGN of ‘CRIMINOCRACY’ in the present political abracadabra of NAIJA has been legalised by Criminals in Authority.
Thank you, and remember that I come in PEACE.
