The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ugborikoko Division in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, CSP Omosetemi Agbede-Zuokumor, has credited the successful completion of a new ultra-modern police station to the unwavering support of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Ltd and her own determination to ensure the project was executed thoroughly.
Delivering a goodwill message during the commissioning ceremony held on Friday, April 11, 2024, CSP Zuokumor reflected on the many challenges she encountered while supervising the project. She emphasized her resolve to stay focused and committed to delivering a lasting legacy for the division.
She expressed gratitude to the management of Tantita Security Services, especially its Chairman, High Chief Government Ekpemupolo (alias Tompolo), and the Managing Director, High Chief Kestin Pondi, for entrusting her with the responsibility and supporting the initiative to completion. She also thanked the leadership of the Nigeria Police Force for granting the necessary approvals and consistent encouragement throughout the process.
Her speech read in part: “It is with immense pride and gratitude that I stand before you today as the 10th Divisional Police Officer of Ugborikoko Division. This moment marks a significant milestone, not just for our division, but for the entire Nigeria Police Force and the community we serve.”
She recalled arriving at the division on June 10, 2024, to find the previous station in a deplorable state—unfit for the officers and men of the force. This motivated her to seek assistance from a long-time friend and brother-in-law, the MD of Tantita Security Services, whose support proved crucial in realizing the vision of a new, modern facility.
The foundation for the new station was laid on July 10, 2024, and after seven months of sustained effort, the building now stands completed. “This edifice is not merely a building; it is a testament to our commitment to enhancing the safety and security of our community,” she said.

CSP Zuokumor highlighted the features of the new police station, which include a furnished gatehouse with offices for SIB, surveillance, and station guards; a renovated and equipped divisional hall; two Hilux patrol vehicles; concrete stamp flooring; a 30kVA inverter; and a 30kVA Mikano generator.
Also installed are state-of-the-art surveillance cameras with modern monitors, an advanced interrogation room that complies with the Administration of Criminal Justice Act (ACJA), and a tactical conference room—making the station one of the most equipped in the state. “We are now better positioned to serve the citizens of Uvwie and its environs,” she affirmed.
The DPO also unveiled a new initiative—The Security Education Advocates Campaign—which aims to combat rising criminality through education and public awareness. The initiative was developed in collaboration with Amb. Pastor Edewor Egedegbe (Value Rebirth and Empowerment Initiative) and Amb. (Dr) Mrs. Onyi Ikemefuna (Sharmar Educational Foundation).
Launched on January 13, 2025, at Delta Career College, Effurun, the campaign has reached schools in Warri South, Okpe, and Uvwie LGAs. Its goal is to educate and reorient young people against crime and drug abuse. The initiative has been endorsed by the Nigeria Police Force and is being proposed for adoption across the country. “We are advocating for its integration into Nigeria’s educational curriculum to help raise a crime-conscious generation,” she said.
CSP Zuokumor gave special appreciation to the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, PhD, NPM, for his leadership and support; and to Delta State Commissioner of Police, CP Abaniwonda Olufemi, for his guidance and encouragement throughout the project.
She also acknowledged the Tantita MD, High Chief Kestin Pondi, for his vision and generosity, and her colleagues at Ugborikoko Division for their dedication and resilience during the construction period.
Closing her remarks, she gave heartfelt thanks to her husband, ACP Kevin Zuokumor, PSC, for his constant support and technical guidance throughout the project: “Let us remember that this station is not just a physical structure—it is a beacon of hope and safety for our community. May we all uphold the values of integrity, professionalism, and service that the Nigeria Police Force stands for.”
