The National Association of Seadogs (NAS) aka Pyrates Confraternity (PC), Vito Corsica Deck in collaboration with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has enlightened Drivers in Delta North on the need for safety and safe driving, as the Yuletide approaches.
The Coordinator of the Vito Corsica Deck’s of NAS Drivers Enlightenment program, Mr. Agbogun Bright, who stated this while addressing members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) noted that the enlightenment became imperative as Ember months were characterized with many activities and everyone seem to be in haste.

Agbogun advised the drivers to always take safety precautions by checking their vehicles every morning before leaving their homes.
Also speaking, the First Mate of the Vito Corsica Deck’s of NAS Engr. Emeka Okolo, charged drivers to avoid overtaking on the highway and at bent corners, stating that some persons drive recklessly not minding other road users.
Engr. Okolo noted that overloading of vehicles at this point could be very dangerous to the vehicles and also the drivers.
An officer of the Road Safety, Mr. Agbor urged the members of the NURTW to avoid driving with warn out tyres and to make sure their tyres were balanced before embarking on a journey.
Responding, Mr. Jude applauded the National Association of Seadogs and FRSC for the sensitization, as it has refreshed their memories on safety tips.
