…Jubilation As Guwor Wins Warri South West State Assembly.

Delta State Deputy Governor, Barr. Kingsley Otuaro has described the People’s Democratic Party ( PDP) primaries for Warri South West Local Government Assembly seat that saw the emergence of Hon Emomtimi Guwor as the winner, as a brotherly contest.
Barr. Otuaro, stated this while fielding questions from newsmen during the PDP House of Assembly primaries for Warri South West LGA, that was held on Thursday, 4th October, 2018, at the Atuwatse Primary School, Warri.
He advised all aspirants that contested the primary to accept the outcome in stoic equanimity, noting that, they are all brothers.
The Deputy Governor urged all party faithful to redouble their efforts to work for the PDP’s progress at all levels in the 2019 general elections.
Celebrating his victory with chant of praise to God Almighty using the Ijaw dialect, the winner, Comrade Emomotimi Guwor, thanked the people of Warri South West for counting him worthy to be their candidate that will fly the party’s flag come 2019.
He pledged not only to work hard but to also represent his people well in the Delta State Assembly when he eventually win the election.
While appealing to all Party members to work hard for the victory of the Party come 2019, Hon. Guwor, noted that all the contestants in the primary were all winners because PDP is one big family so victory for one is victory for all.
The Returning Officer, Engr. Kingsley Oki, who announced the results of the PDP Warri South West State LGA primaries, declared that, Hon. Emomotimi Guwor scored a total of 58 votes to beat his closest rival, Mr Andrew Egba who scored 51 votes.
Other contestants include Hon. Frank Omare who scored 10 votes, Comrade Sheriff Mulade and others.
