Delta State Deputy Governor, Deacon Kingsley Otuaro’s impressive simplicity to life has been identified as some of the attributes his supporters were increasing daily.
Chief Hilary Mordi, a prominent son of Ogwashi-Uku disclosed this as parts of the special attributes of the Deputy Governor yesterday, while thanking him for gracing the Thanksgiving Mass for the remembrance celebration in honour of late Pa Michael Asielue Eboji & Madam Cecelia Udene Eboji (Nee Mordi), parents of Chief Dr. Victor Eboji, Lagos based business tycoon and mariner at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, Ogwashi-Uku Aniocha South Local Government Area.
Mordi thanked him for making out time to grace the 9:30am Mass despite his tight schedules and ongoing events that needed his presence in the Warri axis of the State.
“On behalf of the family, we specially thank the Deputy Governor for taken out time to be here today. As at last night when we spoke on phone he said he was on water in the sea attending to community issues and despite the fog, you know this is harmattan season, he was still able to be here by 9:30am for the Thanksgiving Mass.
“We so appreciate him. We so love him. We are his people. We are his supporters. Wherever he wants to go we are behind him because he is a very simple man. You won’t even know that he’s Deputy Governor because of his simplicity. Otuaro welcome everybody at all times. He is a friend to Ogwashi-Uku so we want to specially thank him”. Mordi stated.
Mordi also thanked the Iyase of Ogwashi-Uku, Chief Michael Nwokolo, for the fatherly role he has been playing to families in Ogwashi-Uku.
“Chief Nwokolo, the Iyase is a man of peace. He adopted us as children and had been giving us huge supports”. He added
While pouring encomiums on Victor Eboji’s late parents, Mordi noted that almost a whole community took out time to attend the Thanksgiving Mass because they were good to all when alive.
