Delta State Deputy Governor, Deacon Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, yesterday decorated his Police Orderly, Inspector Ibrahim Yunusa of the Nigeria Police Force with his new rank.
Decorating the newly-elevated police officer at a brief ceremony in Warri, Dcn Otuaro described his promotion as well deserved and a reward for his dedication and commitment to duties.
According to a statement by the Senior Special Assistant (SSA Media) to the Deputy Governor, Evangelist Doris Warri Aboh, Insp. Yunusa was promoted from the rank of Sergeant to Inspector on the 18th of November, 2020.
He was among the 82,000 officers nationwide whose promotion were approved by the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Mohammed Adamu and endorsed by the Police Service Commission (PSC).
Aboh statement also stated that while congratulating the beneficiary on his elevation and charging him to be more dedicated to work, Otuaro, who was assisted in performing the decoration by his Executive Assistant Hon. Isaiah Ogah, prayed for more career success for his police orderly and enjoined him to be God fearing, honest and straightforward in the discharge of his duties.
“I am happy that your sacrifice has been rewarded with promotion to your next rank which is a challenge to continue your good works and even perform better. Always try to be God fearing and honest because there is nothing better than honesty in life. Be straightforward in whatever you do and God will make you to shine more in your career.” the Deputy Governor stated in the statement.
