The Delta State Ministry of Information, on behalf of all Deltans, has congratulated Governor Sheriff Francis Orohwedor Oborevwori on his historic induction into the Urhobo Progress Union (UPU) Worldwide Hall of Fame. The recognition, bestowed by the Urhobo nation, highlights Governor Oborevwori’s exceptional leadership and dedication to the development of Delta State and the Urhobo people.
In a statement signed by the Commissioner for Information, Dr. Ifeanyi M. Osuoza, the Ministry lauded the Governor’s achievements as a testament to his commitment to the progress and unity of all Deltans.
“We also celebrate the conferment of the prestigious title, ‘Omorotomo of Urhoboland,’ by the esteemed Urhobo Traditional Rulers, an honour that symbolizes your enduring contributions to the unity and development of Urhoboland,” the statement read.
Dr. Osuoza emphasized that the Governor’s achievements continue to inspire Deltans both at home and in the diaspora, describing the recognition as well-deserved and a reflection of his impactful leadership.
The Ministry extended its best wishes to the Governor, expressing confidence that his legacies will continue to motivate the people of Delta State.
