Dr. Sylvester Onoyona, A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Delta State, has advised the Party’s faithful in Isoko land to be committed to a peaceful process in the forthcoming Party Congresses
He gave the advice yesterday, in a statement made available to newsmen in Oleh, in Isoko South Local Government Area.
The Delta APC leader charged stakeholder in Isoko land to hold meetings at all Ward levels in the two local government areas where leaders and officers will sit down, talk together in the spirit of brotherhood and decide who will lead the party after the congresses.
Onoyona also called on APC faithful in the State to participate actively in the ward and LGA congresses and when possible concensus candidates should be adopted for the party to be united.
The philanthropist charismatic Delta APC leader also noted in the Press Statement, that “the Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) is one of the first preparatory steps for one to partake in election”.
Onoyona, who advocated for an opportunity to be given to the youth while charging youths who are yet to register to do so as soon as possible, stressed that the PVC was not only for documentation, banking and other official transactions alone, but most especially a means of changing a wrong system and bad leaders through the ballot box.
