The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State has expressed profound gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for appointing and swearing in Olorogun Martin Aruviere Egharhevwa, Esq. as the Honourable Federal Commissioner representing Delta State in the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).
In a statement signed by Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, CFR, the Deputy President of the 9th Senate (2019–2023), the party hailed the President’s decision, describing Olorogun Egharhevwa as a distinguished professional with a strong educational background, both at home and abroad, and a deep commitment to progressive ideals and good governance.
“Olorogun Egharhevwa is overwhelmingly celebrated by our grateful people as yet another fit and proper choice from Delta State. His appointment reflects Mr. President’s commitment to working with patriotic men and women driven by the spirit of excellence required to propel Nigeria towards its deserved greatness,” the statement read.
Senator Omo-Agege also extended appreciation to Senators Ede Dafinone, Joel Onowakpo, and Ned Nwoko for their unwavering support and legislative expertise in ensuring a seamless Senate screening process for Olorogun Egharhevwa. He commended their unity of purpose in advancing the interests of Delta State, acknowledging the leadership of the Senate President, Senator (Dr.) Godswill Obot Akpabio, GCON, for fostering a fair and progressive confirmation process.
To the newly appointed Federal Commissioner, the statement conveyed the confidence of Delta State in his ability to serve with integrity, honour, and dedication. “We trust you to bring extraordinary resourcefulness and the unique can-do Delta spirit to bear on all your undertakings for the greater good of our nation,” Omo-Agege affirmed.
Recognizing the weight of responsibility that comes with the appointment, he prayed for divine guidance and success in Olorogun Egharhevwa’s role at the RMAFC, emphasizing the importance of contributing meaningfully to President Tinubu’s vision of a modern and prosperous Nigeria.
