As part of effort in complementing the good gesture of government facilities, Chief Paul Oliko promised to provide 30 chairs, three tables and a canopy for umuagu Primary Health Care centres in Oshimili South local government Areas.
Chief Oliko promised this items when the State Advocacy Team (SAT) implementing the Covid-19 Response Mechanism and Resilient and Sustainable System for Health Strengthening System and Community Strengthening System (C19/RSSH-CSS) visited Umuagu community at thier regular meeting where notables chiefs and respected personalities in the community attends.
The State Program Officer, Miss Juliet Obiajulu informed the distinguished community members of the present state of the Umuagu
PHC centres where there is increased of patients and the need for more chairs to accommodate them and canopies to shelter them for the period before they are given services.
She stressed on the importance of the patronage of the facility provided by government in their community and the need to maintain and safeguard it so as to achieved the desired health benefits for their people who are the first beneficiaries before nearby communities.
With the joy to give back to his community and the passion to bring succour to people, Chief Paul Oliko stood up in the meeting and promised to assist the Umuagu Primary Health Care Centre with 30 chairs, three tables and a canopy.
Chief Oliko and other notable personalities thanked the state government for the PHC in the community and the level of sustainability so far even as they request for more of such facilities in other parts of the community.
