In continuation of the sensitisation campaign for eligible voters to take advantage of the on going registration exercise to register and collect their PVCs, the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Delta State Directorate, has embarked on a robust sensitisation in Issele Uku to enlightened the residents on the need for them to take the registration exercise very seriously.
Mrs Charity Echonwere, Chief Orientation and Mobilization Officer (COMO) and officer in charge of the Aniocha North Area Office of NOA in the company of some staff under her embarked on the sensitisation campaign to five major public palaces in Issele Uku metropolis.
She explained that the sensitisation, tagged ” Called to Action”, was aimed to reawaken the consciousness of the electorate to vote for leaders of their choice.
She advocated for peaceful elections in 2023, adding that people should know that ” the PVC is their power.”
In the same vain, residents were assured that their votes must count , even as she advised them not to sell their votes.
She added that it was the responsibility of every eligible citizen to perform his civic responsibility by participating in the electoral process.
