The outgoing director, National Orientation Agency (NOA), Delta State Directorate, Mr. Christopher Uche Anyabuine has formally handed over the affairs of the Directorate to Comrade (Mrs) Tracy Omamode Ikolomi, as he proceeds on retirement.
While handing over NOA Delta to his successor in his office at the Federal Secretariat Complex, Asaba, Anyabuine said he will continue to work together with the staff of the Directorate if consulted while on retirement.
“Today, I will be proceeding on retirement after 35 years of service and I am handing over the affairs of the Agency to Comrade Ikolomi, who is a Deputy Director of Operations to serve as my next in command”. The retiring Director noted.
Anyabuine, while commending his staff for their cooperation, tremendous and unreserved support towards taking the Directorate to an enviable height said, “I’m not leaving anybody behind. We are still living together; we are in a virtual world and is borderless. NOA has what it takes to bring the radical changes Nigeria needs .”
Speaking on his landmark achievements as a director of NOA Delta, Anyabuine said he was not alone, adding that his belief in principle of inclusion really helped in achieving a lot. And thanked the Staff for the supports given to him.
According to Anyabuine, the Directorate which is an Agency of the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation, has been able to create national visibilities, awareness, sensitization, Special Reports, pulse of the nation’s reports, quarterly and annual reports, among other achievements. He added that working in NOA has been a learning moment for him.
He urged Staff of the Directorate to give full support to his successor.
In her remarks as Director of the Agency, Comrade Ikolomi commended Anyabuine for his all-inclusive leadership style amid tears, Comrade Ikolomi wished him well in his future endeavours.
While calling for full cooperation of Staff for the successful driving of the Agency and Government policies and programs, Ikolomi noted that “Chris Uche Anyabuine, my Oga as I used to him will remain a family of NOA both in consultancy and image making”.
Other Staffers that makes commendable remarks about the outgoing Director includes Deaconess Christy Kunu (Mrs), Chief Orientation and Mobilization Officer (COMO) of Oshimili South Local Government Area, Comrade Mrs Patricia Nkiru Umunna, Deputy Director Admin and Human Resources, Mrs. Florence Isioma Nwabuzo, Assistant Director and Head of Accounting Department amongst others.
