A Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Government, Chief Frank Sologidi has commended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for moving Delta State forward in terms of developmental height as Nigerian celebrates 60 years of nationhood.
The Governor’s Aide made the remark at the cenotaph in Asaba during the celebration of the Nigeria at 60 which featured match past by men of the Nigeria Police and paramilitary organisations among others.
Chief Sologidi said though Nigeria is yet to reach her potential in terms of economic growth and development if not for bad leadership saying that even though we are not there yet,we still have cause to celebrate for the purpose of unity of this country.
The Bomadi born politician expressed disappointment at the high level of insecurity in the country which has hampered economic growth as farmers no longer feal safe to go to their farm lands because of the killings by herdsmen, bandits and terrorists who have invaded their farm lands.
While calling on President Muhammadu Burahi to put an end to the indiscriminate killings of innocent Nigerians, Chief sologidi thanked Governor Okowa for taking the initiative to protect Deltans by putting in place a law that would soon establish a state security outfit”Operation Delta Hawk”that would check insecurity across the state.
The SSA on Community Development appreciated Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for his detribalised disposition of bringing development to all parts of Delta State which is the reason Deltans came out in large number to join the state to celebrate the nations independence.
