Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North in the National Assembly, is set to be honored with a prestigious award presented by the Vice President of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima. The recognition celebrates his remarkable achievements within 18 months of his inauguration as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The event, organized by CEOs Network Africa, a multidisciplinary hub with over 35,000 young African entrepreneurs, will take place today at 7 p.m. West African Time, at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa. The award ceremony is being held in partnership with the Office of the Special Assistant to the President on Arts, Culture, and Creative Economy.
According to an invitation letter signed by Alli Bob Cinwon, Founder of CEOs Network Africa, the Vice President will serve as the Special Guest of Honour for the occasion. The letter highlighted that the annual CEOs Network Award Night celebrates excellence in leadership, innovation, and transformative contributions to societal and economic development.
Senator Nwoko will receive the “Mentorship Excellence” award for his contributions to philanthropy, youth empowerment, and national development. This recognition follows three other awards he received between November and December 2024, including the Megastar Award, Human Rights Writers Association (HURIWA) Award, and International Human Rights Commission (IHRC) Award.
The event underscores Senator Nwoko’s exceptional leadership, visionary efforts, and dedication to societal progress, further cementing his reputation as a transformative leader.
