A middle aged man in Sapele has slit the throat of his younger brother during a scuffle over the younger brothers money that was paid into his account.
The victim, who later died before he could be taken to the hospital for help, was identified as Obaro, alias Chop Ukodo, while his elder brother was identified as Obakpororo.
An eye witness accounted that when Obaro was expecting the said sum that caused the scuffle, he confineded in his elder brother, and since his account had some issues, he arranged that the money be paid into his elder brother’s account.
When the expected money finally came, Obakpororo was reluctant to disburse the money to his younger brother which led to argument and a scuffle.
It was said that during the scuffle, Obakpororo slit the throat of his brother, Obaro with a razor blade.
The victim died before he could be taken to the hospital.
As at the time of this report, the Divisional Police Officer pm(DPO) Sapele, Harrison Nwanbuisi, could not be reached but a police source confirmed the incident.
