Youths have been advised to take advantage of the various programmes rolled out by the Ministry of Youth Development to better their lives.
The Permanent Secretary, Delta State Ministry of Youth Development, Ms Ngozi Mogbolu gave the advice when elders and youths of Ndemili Town Hall Virtual Forum in Ndokwa West Local Government Area, paid her a courtesy call in Asaba.
Mogbolu who commended the elders and youths of the forum for their show of love, peaceful coexistence and for what they represent in the community, stated that the ministry was poised to ensure the well being of youth in the state.
Earlier, the leader of the delegation, Dr Festus Adah, expressed gratitude to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, for appointing one of their own as a permanent secretary.
“It took a wide gap of 35 years for an Umusadege person to assume such position again after late Chief George Izah the first permanent secretary retired from active service,” he remarked.
Present at the visit were the Director of Youth, Leadership and Mobilization, Mr Dioru Sheho; Director Youth Enterprise, Mr Efe Emakpeje; Director Finance and Accounts, Mrs Anthonia Anyafulu; Director Administration, Mrs Christy Enuma, amongst others.
