Armed men suspected to be hoodlums reportedly attacked the family residence of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan in the early hours of Tuesday, in Obeiba-Ihima, Okehi LGA of Kogi State.
According to security sources, the attackers—armed with cutlasses and firearms—stormed the property around 1:00 a.m., vandalizing parts of the building, including smashing windows.
Police operatives from the Okehi Division quickly responded to a distress call and arrived at the scene. Although no casualties or arrests have been reported, investigations are currently ongoing.
At the time of this report, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan—who represents Kogi Central is yet to issue a public statement.
