An Abuja-based Medical Director, Dr Godfrey Achilihu has charged the leadership of the University of Ibadan Alumni Association to stop at nothing in taking the premier university to a greater height.
Dr Achilihu, who is the Chief Medical Director, Heartland Cardiovascular Consultant Abuja, stated this when some Executive members and College of Past Presidents of the Association visited him in Abuja.
Dr Achilihu emphasized the essence of focusing on the objective of engaging all UITES both home and in the diaspora. He described the efforts made so far by the Executive as very encouraging.
Dr Achilihu used the occasion to speak extensively on the need for people to always take good care of their health, saying that people should not ignore attending to medical examinations frequently for their well-being.
The Worldwide President, UIAA, Professor Gabriel Nyityo had briefed the Chief Medical Director on the efforts to reach out prominent products of University of Ibadan for development purposes.
Professor Nyityo enumerated some of the programmes packaged to uplift the great university to an enviable and unimaginable height.
On his part, the Emeritus President, Dr Kemi Emina spoke about the “Who is Who” book which is meant to appreciate great UITES for their contributions to humanity.
