Agbor, Delta State – In a continued effort to maintain a clean and healthy environment, the Delta State Waste Management Board (DSWMB) has intensified its waste evacuation operations across the state.
Acting on the directive of the Executive Chairman, Hon. Matthew Mofe Edema, the Member representing Delta North, Hon. Igbenije Cosmas, led a team of DSWMB staff on a routine evacuation of solid waste dumps along Old Lagos/Asaba Road, specifically after Nugbo before the railway in Boji-Boji Owa, Agbor.
The exercise is part of the Board’s ongoing commitment to keeping Delta State clean, preventing environmental hazards, and ensuring proper waste management practices.
Hon. Igbenije Cosmas emphasized the importance of community participation in maintaining a cleaner environment, urging residents to dispose of their waste responsibly and support the government’s sanitation initiatives.
The DSWMB remains dedicated to improving waste management across Delta State and continues to encourage public cooperation in achieving a cleaner, healthier society.
