Deltans with their registered PVCs living in Accra Ghana has been enjoined to come home and avail themsleves the opportunity of exercising their civic responsibility in the forthcoming governorship election by electing the Delta State Governor, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa for a second term.
The call was made by the CEO of BIWUTON GHANA LTD, TONWUBI OIL And GAS and RAYEMTON NIG LTD. a business billionaire in Accra Ghana Mr Tony Igbiwu a.k.a General, from Okpe Local Government Area Delta State during a sensitization campaign visit to Deltans living in Accra Ghana, on the need to come home and ensure the reelection of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
Mr. Igbiwu was accompined by Hon. Olu Kelvin Oritsewinor, SSA to the governor, urged Deltans living in Accra Ghana to ensure that they contribute their quota in the development of Delta State, by returning home during the election and vote Governor Okowa again for a second term.
According to him, modern governance demands strategic partnership with individuals and groups that can help actualize the goals and aspirations of the masses.
Against this backdrop, Mr. Igbiwu noted that, the Okowa led administration that has continued to forge the frontiers of partnership with Deltans and foreign institutions with the aim of ensuring prosperity for all Deltans needs the encouragement and support of all to actualize the set goals.
Mr. Igbiwu while addressing a large crowd of Deltans in Accra Ghana, said the PDP government of Delta State led by Senator Okowa has through its SMART agenda over the years has brought a lot of smiles on the faces of Deltans. He added that the governor who is being called the ‘Road Master’ is poise and ready to do more.
He advised them not to be decieve by the antics of other political parties, saying that Delta State has always remain a PDP State that has promotes the wellbeing of all Deltans. He urged them to ensure that they come home and make good use of their PVC by ensuring that they cast their vote for Governor Okowa and all other PDP candidates.
Also, the SSA to the Governor, Hon. Olu Kelvin Oritsewinor, in his remark, said the administration of Governor Okowa has remain irrevocably committed to the principles of transparency, fairness and equity to all Deltans.
While urging the people to come hope and reelect the governor for a second term, he noted that Governor Okowa has inspired hope and confidence in Deltans and has continued to ensure even development across the State.
Mr Otien of ward 8 in Sapele Local Government Area, among other Deltans resident in Accra Ghana who spoke, commended Mr. Igbiwu and Hon. Oritsewinor, for their campaign visit, saying that, their visit is a pointer to the fact that, Governor OKowa and PDP has value and means well for Deltans both at home and in diaspora.
Mr. Otien, assured that they will do all within their power to return home during the election and ensure that Governor Okowa and all other PDP candidates are voted for.
He use the ocassion to commend the governor on his numerous achievement to the development of Delta State so far, and encourage him to do more in ensuring the prosperity of all Deltans.
