A foremost pressure group, the Integrity Group, whose aim and objectives among others to promote the MORE Agenda of Governor Sherriff Oborevwori and the pet project of his wife, ‘You Matter Charity Foundation’, has received the endorsement of the first lady, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori.
The endorsement by Deaconess Oborevwori came during the group’s condolence visits to the first family at government house, Asaba over the death of Madam Agnes Ayetoma, mother of the first lady who passed on recently after a brief illness.
Deaconess Oborevwori who was visibly happy by the activities of the Integrity Group who had earlier embrace her pet project, noted that she was short of words in thanking the group.
According to Deaconess Oborevwori who was flanked by her first daughter and others; “for the first time since my mom died no group has impacted on me more than the Integrity Group. I am also overwhelmed by the group love for my family and activities regarding my pet project ‘You Matter Charity Foundation’ which is all about the people.”
“If I am allowed to score you I will rate your group 85 percent, In fact, words are not enough to express my feelings today, as soon as the burial of my mom is over I will invite your group to chart a future for my foundation.
“Your white dresses here are unique and means my mom is resting in peace. In the book of Thessalonians 5 vs 7, in everything we should be grateful to God. I thank God because my mom lived a worthy life, death is inevitable.”
She said her vision is to identify with the people saying i endorsed the Integrity Group and we will certainly partner together.
Earlier, the Convener of Integrity Group, Dr. Oke Idawene noted that the group did not come to mourn with her but to celebrate with her because Mama Agnes Ayetoma lived a worthy life.
“Your pet project, You Matter Charity Foundation, is divinely ordained by God because its all about the people and the less privilege in the society. When your project was launched, as MORE ambassadors, we produced jungle to promote it and the jungle is currently running in most of the media houses in Delta State. We did it because we believe in the project as it will have direct impact on the people.”
Idawene, however, urged the first family to bear the irreplaceable loss since mama soul is already resting in peace just as he promised that the Integrity Group will be part and parcel of the burial arrangements.
The highlights of the visit was presentation of consolation card to Deaconess Oborevwori by Integrity Group.
