The National Orientation Agency (NOA) Chief Orientation and Mobilization Officer (COMO) in Warri South local government area of Delta State, Comrade Julie Efejuku yesterday, continued the Agency’s Sensitization Campaign program to the rural areas of the Council.
Comrade Efejuku, accompanied by the Delta State Commander of the War Against Indiscipline (WAI) Brigade, Commander Robert Obot and his team has been criss crossing the nooks and crannies of Warri South communities sensitizing the people on the precautionary measures to prevent contracting and avoiding the spread of the dreaded pandemic coronavirus.
While disclosing that Warri South have twelve confirmed cases of Covid-19 out of the forty-six recorded in the State, the NOA Chief Orientation and Mobilization Officer said she was shocked that even the supposedly educated ones still doubt the realities starring us at our faces that Covid-19 is real.
Efejuku emphasized that the NOA was determined to ensure that different protocols of regular washing of hands, use of sanitisers, wearing of facial/nose masks, maintaining of social distancing and good respiratory hygiene were adhered to by residents of Warri South.
“The NOA sensitization campaign against the spread of Covid-19 is designed to reachout to all on the need to always wear facemask while in public places and to also indulge in proper hygiene of regular washing of hands or using of alcohol based sanitizer and maintaining social distancing”. The Warri South NOA boss stated.
She commended the Delta State Government for steps taken and efforts made so far in curtailing the spread of the Coronavirus in the State.
