A Niger Delta based human rights activist and environmentalist, Comrade Sheriff Mulade has urged Governor Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State to as a matter of urgency embark on completion of projects started by his predecessor so as to add more and quick infrastructural development in the state.
Comrade Mulade, who made the appeal recently in Warri, pointed out that the immediate past administration in the state commenced the Ughoto/Jeddo Omadino Road to link Sapele Road by Aziza junction in Okpe Local Government Area in order to decongest the heavy traffic gridlock in Jeddo/Ughoton and Omadino axis, Ogheye floating market that will serve as first floating market and open up commerce and economic activities across the coastal areas in Warri North Local Government Area, the Ayakoromo/Egbo-Ideh access Road and Bridge transversing Burutu and Ughelli South Local Government Areas.
He noted that those listed works have not received adequate attention from the present administration and appealed to Governor Okowa to complete them in order to create history and remain indelible in the hearts of Deltans.
The Niger Delta environmentalist commended the state governor for his efforts to develop the state by making residents experience societal changes all over the state.
He stressed that completion of ongoing projects embarked upon in no distance time will shore up revenue in the state.
