ASABA- Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on Women Development, Hon. Mrs Christy Odimegwu has Commended the appointment and re- appointments of Hon. Joe Adigwe and Barr. Chukwuma Oseyenim into the Board of tertiary institutions in the State.
Hon. Mrs Odimegwu made this assertion today while fielding questions from some group of Journalists today in Asaba, Delta State capital soon after the inauguration of the Board of tertiary institutions at the Unity Hall in old Government House, Asaba in his reactions Commended their appointments.
She Congratulated Hon Joe Adigwe who was repointed as Member, Governing Council Board, Delta State Polytechnic, Ozoro, and Hon. Barr. Chukwuma Oseyenim appointed as Member, Board of Governing Council, Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi- Uku.
Hon. Joe Adigwe is a poineer Member, Delta State House of Assembly, former Member Representing Aniocha South Constituency, DTHA, former Chairman of Peoples Democratic party (PDP), Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State, former Transition Committee Chairman, Aniocha South Local Government Council, and currently the Political Leader of Ward 9 in Aniocha-South was re-appointed by His Excellency, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa to continue in his good works of repositioning Ozoro Polytechnic towards academic excellence.
Barr. Chukwuma Oseyenim is a former Councilor, who represented in Ward 10, Aniocha- South Local Government Council of Delta State, former Chairman, Nigerian Bar Association ( NBA), Asaba branch, former 2015, PDP aspirant for Aniocha South Constituency, Delta State House of Assembly and renowned Legal luminary in Nigeria with many years of experience in legal Education and practice.
The Governor’s aide on Women Development noted further that she is confident the duo will deliver in their mandate and enjoined them to support the Governor’s stronger Delta Agenda towards Youth development and empowerment.
