By GRADE-ONE CLARK If huge billboards, glossy posters, bareface lies and propaganda were the only ingredients for winning elections, Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa and his ever fumbling puppet, the PDP governorship candidate, Sheriff Oborevwori, would have again picked the trophy as reward of service. Unfortunately, they are not. The late very cerebral UNN doyen of public relations, Prof. Okechukwu Nwosu, had said that an organization or government requires 90% performance and just 10% publicity to showcase its performance in serve delivery to its various publics. But as it is, Okowa and the PDP, want to turn this time tested hypothesis on…

I pity this man called Emefiele. I want to believe he has been bewitched into the trap of politicians who are still singing his praises of “His Excellency”, after his failure to clinch the presidential ticket of APC. He should learn from the mistakes of those who offered themselves to be used as instruments of political oppression. Nuhu Ribadu was the first casualty, followed by Nasir El Rufai. The former commissioner of police in Rivers “Joseph Mbu” is regretting his actions now. Sanusi, who was used to hijack and take over some banks is regretting his actions today, and many…

We feel the pains of our market women and artisans who have experienced low sales because customers do not have cash to make purchases. We hear the loud cries of farmers in rural areas and hinterlands who have been forced to sell their produce at much lower prices so they don’t lose out completely. We…
