Residents of Ndokwa East Local Government Area of Delta have protested the choice of selected local government areas to get relief materials for the 2022 flood by the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs (MNDA). Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal high court, Abuja has ordered the government of President Muhammadu Buhari to account for the spending of $460 million Chinese loan to fund the failed Abuja Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) project. Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta says the establishment of three new universities remains the highest of his administration’s legacies for the state.
