The football competition took place at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba. Owa Model Primary School, Ika North East LGA, defeated their rival school, Ogdegbe Primary School, Warri, in a penalty shot after playing a 3-3 draw in 90 mins. The winner of the competition got a 18 sitter bus and one million Naira (N1,000,000), while the second position got the sum of seven hundred and fifty thousand (N750,000). Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa said his administration has put in place state-of-arts facilities for the promotion of sporting activities.
