A lawyer based in Asaba, headquarters of Delta state, Barr. S. A. Eshibogwu has petitioned the Delta State Police Commissioner, Wale Abass, Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun over late Chief Abel Maduku’s son’s alleged threat to Olorogun Godwin Agofure and to unleashed mayhem on Oguname community, Agbarho, Ughelli North local government area of Delta state.
Late Chief Abel Maduku’s son, Mr. Michael Osiughwu Maduku was alleged to have threatened to unleashed mayhem on the entire Oguname community following the relocation of the deceased cousin that was buried at the fence of Chief Godwin Omote Agofure in Oguname community.
Mr. Michael Osiughwu Maduku who has threatened in a trending video posted on Facebook, Online and other social media in a statement credited to him said, “Look at my face. Am not a happy man. l could have kill a lot since last week” has few weeks now escaped arrest and presently at large.
The suspect who is at large, was among the late Chief Abel Maduku’s children that has attacked and scandalized the hard earned reputation of Chief Godwin Omote Agofure, who has requested the late Chief Abel Maduku’s children to relocate their deceased cousin buried by the fence of his country home in Oguname community.
The petition letter had also explained that Mr. Michael Osiughwu Maduku, who vehemently refused arrest and now at large is posing serious threat to their client, Olorogun Godwin O. Agofure and the entire Oguname community, hence the call on security agents to arrest him before he accomplished his threat in the community.
The petition stated that Mr. Michael Osiughwu Maduku who was on a recorded video, said, “Look at my face. Am not a happy man. l could have kill a lot since last week”, should not be taken for granted or be seen as mere threat, hence there is need for the security agents to go after him.
The petition stated that Mr. Michael Osiughwu Maduku has been pervading the Social Media Space with unpalatable publications and unsustainable allegations against their Client, which ordinarily their Client would have ignored if it has not risen to the point of threat to their Clients life.
The petition reads, “Our client cannot fold his hands and look on until Mr. Michael Osiughwu Maduku carries out his threat. It is in the light of the aforementioned facts that we seek your urgent intervention to cause an investigation into this matter, before it degenerates. A stitch in time they say saves Nine.”
