A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, Dr. Iyke Odikpo, has expressed strong support for the upcoming high-profile interactive stakeholders’ meeting with His Excellency, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, CFR, in Delta North Senatorial District.
As part of efforts to strengthen the APC in Delta State, Senator Omo-Agege will embark on a tour of Delta North, beginning in Ukwuani Local Government Area tomorrow. The tour aims to foster unity, reorganize party structures, and reinvigorate political strategy ahead of the 2027 elections.
Dr. Odikpo, a committed party leader, reaffirmed his support for the initiative, emphasizing its significance in breaking the stronghold of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
According to him, the APC must adopt a strategic and united approach to overcome past electoral setbacks and build a formidable front for future victories.
“As a progressive party, the APC thrives on inclusiveness, teamwork, and a collaborative leadership system,” Dr. Odikpo stated. “The outcome of the 2023 elections should not divide us but serve as a lesson and motivation to reorganize, strategize, and emerge stronger.”
He urged all APC members in Delta North to turn out in large numbers to welcome and engage meaningfully with Senator Omo-Agege, stressing that the tour represents a renewed commitment to the party’s shared vision. He also described it as an opportunity to resolve internal differences for the greater good of the party and the development of Delta State.
The upcoming meeting underscores the APC’s dedication to fostering peace and unity while preparing for a victorious 2027 election campaign. With a reinvigorated party structure and strengthened leadership, Dr. Odikpo expressed confidence that the APC will achieve success and secure a brighter future for the people of Delta State and Nigeria at large.
