The Anioma Medical Professionals Forum (AMPF) in conjunction with OMIWA Foundation have slated May 22-23, 2021 to hold their next free medical outreach at Onicha-Ugbo in Aniocha North local government area of Delta State.
This programme is in line with the groups’ vision of rendering free medical services in rural communities of Anioma and beyond.
In a statement respectively signed by Dr. Alexander Awunor Chidubem, Founder and President of AMPF, Dr. Okolie Kenneth Ekenemchukwu, Secretary of AMPF and Mr. Tohan Okenyi, Facilitator of OMIWA Foundation, the medical mission will cover two exclusive days of 22nd and 23rd May, 2021, at the Primary Health Centre Onicha-Ugbo, starting from 9am through to 5pm daily.
Some of the services expected to be carried out include free consultations and examinations, free laboratory services, free drug distribution and treatment, free eye screening and dispensing of eye lenses, free health talks and dietary counselling, free minor surgeries and referrals.
The statement further indicated that registration of patients would commence on Wednesday 19th – Friday 21st May, 2021, to enable the organisers evaluate the number of patients to be attended to and of course profile various special health cases.
However, in line with the directive of IPC, all patients and participants are to observe all Covid-19 protocols at the venue.
The last pot of call of AMPF, OMIWA Foundation’s medical mission was at Idumuogo community; however, more communities are expected to be covered after Onicha-Ugbo.
