Anioma Media Associates, AMASS, an association of Practicing Journalists from the Delta North Senatorial District, has congratulated Dr. Ifeanyi Osuoza on his appointment and swearing in as the Delta State Commissioner for Information and member of the Delta State Executive Council.
In a statement on Thursday, February 1, 2023, by the National Coordinator, Comrade David Diai and the General Secretary, Deacon Chijioke Williams Ugbolue, the Group described the appointment as well deserved and said Dr. Osuoza, over the years, has demonstrated exceptional capacity towards effective and efficient propagation of the policies and actions of his Party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and the Delta State Government, as its Publicity Secretary.
The Group noted that Dr. Osuoza, given his vast interactions and exposure in the media and public relations Industry has professionally defended and communicated the policy directions of the State PDP, which greatly contributed to and propelled the policies and actions of the Delta State Government, even as it averred that he remains a thoroughbred Media Manager with comprehensive knowledge of Local and National Media Networks.
AMASS then hailed the State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori for finding Osuoza worthy of the portfolio of Commissioner for Information, saying the newly Inaugurated Commissioner is properly primed and well positioned to showcase the administration’s MORE agenda.
The statement further noted that Dr. Osuoza’s experience, especially in his previous roles as Chairman of Delta Broadcasting Service, DBS, Asaba and Warri respectively and his stint as Executive Assistant (EA) Communication to the Delta State Governor, will be of immense value to the State Government
While urging the newly Inaugurated Commissioner for Information to bring his wealth of experience as a renowned Communication Manager to bear in his new assignment, AMASS pledged to align with other Media Practitioners in the State and the Country, to project the noble policies and actions of the Delta State Government.
