Chief Eregbene who was the immediate past chairman of the Muslim pilgrimage welfare board Delta State while speaking to newsmen said that the decision for him and his followers to vote for President Muhammadu Buhari for presidency and former governor of Delta State Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, was because they believe in rotational structure.
The Obaseki of Akugbene Mein Kingdom, stressed that him and his supporters chose to support President Muhammadu Buhari to complete his eight years in office, stressing that after President Buhari eight years in office, power will now come back to the south.
Chief Yusuf Eregbene who spoke on rotational formula in Delta South Senatorial District where the Isoko, Ijaw and Itsekiri are from, pointed out that it is now the turn of the Itsekiri.
Chief Yusuf Eregbene however described the All Progressive Congress APC Delta South Senatorial District candidate Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan who is an Itsekiri man, as a leader who has what it takes to render quality representation to the district at the Red Chamber.
He emphasized that the Ijaw, Isoko and Itsekiri are like a big family, pointing out that God has a reason for siting them in the same senatorial district.
He described the move of an Ijaw man to still contest the senatorial seat as something that is selfish ambition and an act that ca cause bad blood between the other ethnic groups in the senatorial district.
He therefore called on all Ijaw from the Niger Delta Region, especially those in Delta South Senatorial District to vote in President Muhammadu Buhari and Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan
