The Pan-African American Leadership Awards, PAALA has announced that it will be honouring Mrs. Perpetua Uwechue, a distinguished Economist, Philanthropist, and Community Leader with a Global Leadership Award in recognition of her selfless service to humanity and exceptional leadership particularly in the development of African American Communities in the United State of America and in the African continent.
The award which seeks to preserve the Pan Africanism ideals, and also for the sustainability of shared value for africapitalism, sustained democracy and the global competitiveness of the African continent is slated to hold on Saturday 21st October, 2023, at the prestigious Holiday Inn & Suites, Atlanta Airport, Georgia, USA

With an illustrious career spanning decades, Mrs. Uwechue made significant contributions to the financial sector, notably at Merchant Bank of Commerce (MBCOM) and International Merchant Bank (IMB) Nigeria, where she orchestrated the Wealth and Risk Management departments. Her expertise as an Enrolled Agent and Tax Consultant has not only reshaped financial landscapes across the USA but has also touched the lives of countless individuals seeking sound financial advice.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Mrs. Uwechue’s heart beats for philanthropy.
