Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Jerry who doubles as the Owelle of Onicha Olona, has berated the Chairperson of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Lauretta, for working against Tinubu Presidential election and failing to deliver her polling unit and her ward to the party during the just-concluded 2023 general elections.
Speaking with select journalists in Aniocha north local government area on Sunday.
Owelle said Lauretta refusal not to even win her polling unit for APC is deliberately intentionally calculated political strategy to ensure Tinubu fail but to God be the glory it is a different story after she work against party and deliver Peter Obi in her polling unit, go and check the results is in the public space.
“What can Lauretta, tell me now when she could not deliver her ward? She could not deliver her polling unit, because she did anti party worked against our presidential candidate. A small circle of people in her unit, she can’t control them.
You lost and you are saying you are working for the party. If you have lost it in your small unit so of what value are you to the party?
The results is very clear in my own Ward 4 unit 001 presidential results APC 53, PDP 21, LP 51, Senate APC 65, PDP 40, LP 30, Rep APC 59, PDP 42, Lp 26.
In Lauretta Onochie ward 4 Unit 8 presidential election results APC 16, PDP 27. LP 38. It is shameful that she can not deliver her polling unit with all the arsenal in her position as a chairperson of the NDDC.
Lauretta Onochie didn’t commit herself to the success of the party during the elections. The indefinite suspension followed a series of complaints about her from party members in the ward and local government.
The inability to win her polling unit confirmed her lack of commitment to the party she has been suspended from all party activities through the appropriate quarters Owelle said the executives of the ward made this known while addressing the media.
According to them, Lauratta Onochie failed to assist the party at the ward level in the 2023 general elections.
