The 2003/2004 National Executive Council of the National Union of Izon-Ebe Students Worldwide (NUIS) has congratulated Chief Dennis Otuaro (Phd), the Ibe-Oyadonwei of Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South West Local Government Area on his well deserved appointment as the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme saying he has the capacity, capability, tenacity and courage to carry out the mandate of the programme in line with the “Renewed Hope Agenda” of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
A statement issued by the 2003/2004 NUIS executive in Warri, Delta State signed by the hitherto Vice President, Enemoh Kakandar-Adebisi and Secretary General, Hon. Ken Oyakemeagbegha said the antecedents of Chief Dennis Otuaro spoke volume saying they had no fear in his ability to deliver on his new presidential assignment.
According to the 2003/2004 NUIS executive, Chief Dennis Otuaro was the National President of the Ijaw students body with Enemoh Kakandar-Adebisi as Vice President, Hon. Ken Oyakemeagbegha, Secretary General, Vincent Nadifa Esq. Assistant Secretary General, Fun-Akpo Okaba,Treasurer, Ayapaye Brendan,Public Relations Officer and Sampson Okpuako,Provost.
“We are happy that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has found one of us worthy to be appointed as the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, we know his antecedents and are confident that the PAP would witness a turn around in line with the vision of its establishment” .
“The 2003/2004 NUIS leadership under Chief Dennis Otuaro took the Ijaw students body to greater heights which successive administrations are enjoying till date, we left indelible footprints in the hearts of Ijaw students worldwide “.
“We are sincerely confident that Chief Dennis Otuaro would bring his wealth of experience both in the academics and Niger Delta affairs to bear in his new assignment by re-engineering and giving a new policy direction to the Amnesty Programme” .
“We thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for Otuaro’s appointment and wish to express our implicit confidence that he will not disappoint Mr President as he had often demonstrated his ability to revamp and re-engineer any office he was called to serve” .
“We solicit for the support of the government and people of the Niger Delta region particularly ex agitators and all stakeholders as no meaningful development can take place in an atmosphere of rancour”.
According to the statement…..” we pray to God to grant Chief Dennis Otuaro the wisdom to pilot the affairs of his office to greater heights and advise the people especially stakeholders to shun divisive tendencies and join hands with him to give the Amnesty Programme a facelift “.
